Nabeel is a contemporary photographer whose passion is to capture light & life as they unfold before him

About Me

Born in London, I graduated in Medicine from University College London in 2002 in addition to holding a BSc in Neuroscience. I am currently based in South West London, where I practice as a Cardiologist.

I developed my interest in Photography in the late 1990s, and purchased my first digital camera in 2001. Since then, I have never looked back, and pursue this interest whenever I get the time alongside a busy career!

My main inspiration for photography comes from the feeling I get when experiencing the natural world at its most transcendent - moments in which a real sense of inner peace and connection can be felt with nature; it is this which I strive to capture and share with others. I am also fascinated and inspired by different cultures and from observing people in their most natural state, as they go about their daily lives in different parts of the world.

Besides my love of photography, I am a keen artist and draw portraits in pencil and paint landscapes in watercolours and oil. My other passion is travelling and experiencing new cultures and ways of life; the observation that people are unique yet remain fundamentally the same the world over provides further inspiration for my photography. I hope to convey this sense of interrelatedness through some of my work.

Prints

All prints are proofed on high quality, colour-calibrated professional monitors to ensure colour accuracy. They are produced using professional printers capable of delivering exhibition quality results with a resolution of up to 5760 x 1440 dpi, vivid colours and stunning black and white results.

I only use professional quality, bright white resin coated Glossy photo paper (255 g/m²) with the weight and structure of real silver-halogenide media. The light-fastness rating of this paper is >100 years, ensuring that prints won't fade.
